The albino spider (Sociaranea infinitus) is a species of spider that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii and introduced throughout almost every reigons of Earth except the Arctic or Antarctica to help boost biodiversity. The closest living relative of the albino spider is the silver spider (Argentucogitataranea socialis). The albino spider is a large spider. Its maximum body length is around 5 centimeters and its legs can span 15 centimeters in larger individuals. Its body is pale-yellow in color with with black lines and gray blotches on its abdomen. In general body plan, the albino spider is similar in build to the closely-related silver spiders and the spiders of the genus Latrodectus (black widow spiders and kin). The venom of the albino spider is only as potent as a bee sting, being largely harmless to people and other large animals, and is not fatal to any species/individuals who are normally allergic to spider bites, thanks to the species' venom being heavily modified to have no proteins that caused allergic reactions/effects. Like other spiders, the albino spiders have the ability to make webs, and their webs can be made into simple or complex webs, or be constructed into a wide range of objects by both the albino spiders themselves and by other species such as humans. The albino spider is the smartest known species of spider on Earth, even more intelligent than the silver spiders, with its intelligence equivalent to that of cetaceans and great apes (including humans), having a cognitive ability, being able to make tools/technologies, have cultures and religions, etc. Because of this greatly heightened intelligence compared with most arthropods, the albino spider is considered sapient and is given the same rights as other sapient species. Oddly and uniquely among arthropods, the albino spiders have the ability to vocalize similarly to tetrapods, thanks to having biological nanobots found within their bodies (created by SciiFii's scientists during the creation of that spider's species) that, not only increasing the albino spider's brain power, but also allows the development of vocal cords in the beginning of the spider's aorta. As these nanobots have become part of the spider's body, the nanobots have become part of the spider's genetics and are passed down through generations, and shows no sign of deevolving such characteristics. Because of these characteristics, the albino spiders have become part of the society and the entire part of the civilization, and there has been a massive decline of arachnophobia in humans. Unlike many other spiders, the albino spider is an omnivore and is able to feed on a wide range of food sources, similarly to humans and other sapient species, although the species prefers to feed on insects, scorpions, snails, slugs, and worms, especially live ones. Like the silver spiders, the albino spiders are very social animals and can live in groups of up to around 100 individuals in a man-made human bedroom alone, although a larger room in any building can house more than 500 individuals. The reproduction of the albino spider is almost identical to those of the black widow spider, but the females do not kill the males due to their heightened intelligence and their own form of morals they have followed since the species' creation, and both parents care for their young. The young mature into fully grown adults in just a year, and the albino spider has the longest lifespan of all the known spider species, with the average lifespan around 100 years and the maximum lifespan of about 120 years. The conservation status of the albino spider is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the albino spider's wide range and its tolerance to many of the human activities, including being able to work and live with other sapient species such as humans.
