The American devil lemur (Neocarnolemur felimimoides) is a species of adapiform primate, despite its name, that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii and introduced throughout the rainforests, wetlands, forests, and open woodlands across North America to help boost biodiversity. The American devil lemur is a rather large adapiform, growing to be about the size of the indri (Indri indri). Unlike most adapiforms, it is fully carnivorous, hence its name, feeding primarily on carrion, insects, eggs, small reptiles, birds, and smaller mammals (including smaller primate species and young of various primate species). It is one of, if not, the main competitors of the bobcat (Lynx rufus). The American devil lemur is a solitary animal that lives in most of its entire life alone except breeding seasons. The conservation status of the American devil lemur is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the American devil lemur's wide range and its tolerance to many of the human activities.
