American kelpie (SciiFii)

The American kelpie (Amphibidontotherium hippus) is a species of hyracodont rhinoceros that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii and introduced throughout the rainforests, wetlands, forests, open woodlands, grasslands, shrublands, and riverbanks across North America to help boost biodiversity. The closest living relatives of the American kelpie are the much larger indricotheres such as Paraceratherium. It is an average-sized hyracodont, about the size of a large Shetland pony. The American kelpie is entirely herbivorous and primarily forages on grasses, leaves, pine needles, shrubs, fruits, ferns, horsetails, and aquatic vegetation. The American kelpie is mostly a solitary animal that prefers to live alone except during the breeding seasons. The conservation status of the American kelpie is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the American kelpie's wide range, and its tolerance to most of the human activities, including being able to adapt to life in the cities and suburbs.
