The burrunjor (Thylacotyrannus theropodus) is a species of marsupial that originally never existed, but has since been created by SciiFii and introduced to the grasslands, forests, swamps, open woodlands, and scrublands of Australia to help boost biodiversity. It is one of the largest carnivorous marsupials in the world, about the size of a subadult lion. The burrunjor is also the only known carnivorous marsupial to have a bipedal locomotion, which is very similar to those of non-avian theropods in the way the animal stands, walks, and runs. It is a solitary carnivore that mainly ambushes its prey such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and feral animals such as feral horses, feral donkeys, dromedary camels, and European rabbits. The burrunjor has a wide jaw gape and a pouch in both genders, something that most other male marsupials lack, very similar to thylacines, thus it is a member of the thylacine family. The conservation status of the burrunjor is Vulnerable due to some habitat loss, but thanks to conservationists, the numbers of the burrunjors have increased due to being a protected species and their habitats are also protected.
