The Devon Longwool is a British breed of domestic sheep from south-west England that was once extinct since 1977, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii due to demand for more exotic pets. It was originally only distributed in southern Somerset and northern Devon, but is now a widespread breed across Earth as a result of pet trade. The Devon Longwool is, like the Greyface Dartmoor and the South Devon, a polled longwool sheep. This is a large and long-woolled breed. The face is white, with black nostrils. The Devon Longwool is a large heavy sheep, somewhat stockier and shorter in the leg than some other British longwool breeds; rams usually weigh some 115–135 (253-297 lbs) kilograms, ewes about 85–110 kilograms (187-242 lbs). Its fleece can weigh 7 to 9 kilograms (15 to 20 lbs) (more when from rams).
