Exploud

An exploud (Vociferanosaurus pokevus) is a species of non-mammal dicynodont synapsid that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii due to demands for real life Pokémon-like animals by Pokémon fans. However, due to some careless pet owners releases explouds, these animals now live throughout the wilderness (in forests and in caves) of Japan and Australia. The males are larger than female explouds, which are called loudreds, and have three times as much crests as females, who only have two ear-shaped crests. The explouds are herbivorous and they mainly feed on grasses, leaves, fruits, fungi, and cavern plants. They have bad eyesight, but they have great sense of smell and hearing to make up for that, and can fight other males by making deep-toned bellows which can be heard in almost every part of the caverns where they are present. The explouds are mostly solitary animals that live most of their lives alone except during breeding seasons or if it's a caring mother of its offspring. The female explouds (loudreds), unlike most dicynodonts, give birth to live young (instead of laying eggs), and can usually give birth to around one or two at a time, but three isn't uncommon. In caverns, the explouds don't have many predators around so the average lifespan of the cave-dwelling exploud can be around 75 years, compared with rhe forest-dwelling explouds, which only live to be about 21 years. The conservation status of the exploud is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the exploud's wide range, and its tolerance to most of human activities, including being able to survive and adapt to life in the cities and suburbs.
