Garfield's Tabby is a breed of domestic cat that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii due to commissions and demands for a breed of cat that resembles the fictional cartoon character, Garfield. The Garfield's Tabby is a large Maine Coon-sized breed of house cat, with the average shoulder height of between 9.8 and 16.1 inches (25-41 centimeters), growing to be about 19-30 inches (48.2-76.2 centimeters), and weighing around 5.4-8.1 kilograms (12-18 lbs). The Garfield's Tabby comes in several color variations, depending on the individual, including orange (the most famous color for the breed), reddish-brown, brown-and-grey, black-and-brown, greyish-brown, gray, black, white, black-and-grey, and black-and-white. Garfield's Tabbys are very long-lived cats, living to be around 12 and 19 years in age. Like Maine Coon cats, the Garfield's Tabby is a large and sociable cat, hence its nickname, "the gentle giant". Prized for its intelligence and playful, gentle personality, the Garfield's Tabby is often cited as having "dog-like" characteristics. Professionals notice certain health problems recurring in the breed, including feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and hip dysplasia, but reputable breeders use modern screening methods to minimise the frequency of these problems.
