The gengar (Toxopatulognathus sancto) is a species of large pig-sized amphibian that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii. It was created due to demands from Pokemon fans who want real life versions of Pokemon as real world animals and pets. However, some gengars were let loss and started thriving breeding populations in the wild across North America and Japan. The gengar is a carnivore that primarily feeds on any animal smaller than itself, but gengar tadpoles, like frog tadpoles, are fully herbivorous and feed mainly and algae. It is a semi-aquatic animal when fully grown, having a similar lifestyle to the crocodilians such as alligators. Like (most) frogs, it often uses its long, sticky tongue in order to catch any unsuspecting prey animals. It also has a large throat poach that is inflatable and used to produce deep croaks in order to attract the mates. The gengar is a solitary animal that spends throughout most of its life alone except during the breeding seasons. The conservation status of the gengar in the wild is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the gengar's wide range and its tolerance to most of human activities, including man-made pollution, allowing it to survive and thrive in parts of human settlements, including park lakes.
