A kangaskhan (Marsuppiosaurus fuliginosus) is a species of non-mammal pouched synapsid part of the part of the Dinocephalian therapsid family that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii due to the demand for real life Pokémon-like animals from Pokémon fans. However, due to some careless pet owners releasing them into the wilderness, kangaskhans are now found throughout the rainforests, swamps, forests, open woodlands, and grasslands across Australia, Japan, Africa, and North America. The closest relative of the kangaskhan is the Estemmenosuchus. The kangaskhan is a herbivores that mainly feeds on grasses, leaves, fruits, roots, and tubers. The fully grown kangaskhan can grow to be about the size of the largest known southern white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum), making it among the largest of the non-mammal synapsids. It is a social herd-dwelling animal that can live in herds up to around 50 at a time. The females usually lay a single egg at a time (although two eggs aren't uncommon) into a male's pouch, usually its mate, although unrelated males can care for the eggs if the mother's real mate is not present, and the mate/unrelated male cares for the egg until the egg hatches. The kangaskhan is the only known non-mammal synapsid that has a pouch, much like marsupials (including kangaroos), which has pouches, allowing it to carry its young and protect it against any potential predators. Both males and females have pouches so they can take turns who can care for their young until the young is too large to fit in the pouch yet is large enough to fend for itself. The conservation status of a kangaskhan is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the kangaskhan's wide range, and its tolerance to most of human activities, including being able to survive and adapt to life in the cities and suburbs.
