A Nido (Megasynapsosaurus pokevus) is a species of non-mammal synapsid that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii due to demands for real life Pokémon-like animals from the Pokémon fans. However, due to pet releases from careless pet owners, they are now found in the wilderness of Africa, Brazil, Japan, and North America. The nido is a type of non-mammal synapsid part of a family known as the Therapsidians and the closest relative of the nido is the Estemmenosuchus. The fully grown nido can grow to be about the size of the largest known southern white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum), making it among the largest of the non-mammal synapsids. The male nido is called a nidoking while the females are called nidoqueens, both can be distinguished by their colors (males are purple while females are blue) and some of their characteristics. The nidos are herbivores and primarily feed on fruits, leaves, shrubs, and grasses. The nidos are social herd-dwelling animals that can live in groups up to around 25 at a time. The female nidos (nidoqueens) can lay up to around 10 at a time, the females guard the eggs to make sure that the hatchlings survive and eventually grow up into adults one day. The conservation status of the nido is Near Threatened due to some habitat loss and historic poaching, however, the conservationists have since protected nidos and their natural habitats.
