Peacat

The peacat (Pavogallufelis aves) is a species of cat that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii due to demands for more species as pets. Unlike all other mammals, the peacat has a highly developed form of fur known as pycnofeathers, which is similar to the feathers of birds, and like those of birds, males have developed green and blue colorations unlike the fur of most mammals, while the females are rather dull in color, being marbled brownish gray in color. The peacat is a stocky animal with a build similar to those of bobcats, although it is smaller, about the size of an average-sized Maine Coon cat, with a short, stumpy tail that possesses multiple tail feather-like filaments similar to those of the similarly-colored peacocks, hence its name. Peacats are considered domesticable, though somewhat troublesome pets, with catlike climbing habits, and the dragging tail feather-like filaments. Despite this they are the favoured pets. Peacats are, generally, considered finicky animals as pets, and can make the combination of peacock-like calls and domestic cat-like screeches, despite this, many household specimens are bred to be mostly silent. The peacat, like all cats, is entirely carnivorous and feeds on the same kind of food as the cats of the genus Felis, feeding on, not only cat food, but also many animals smaller than itself.
