Primarina

The primarina (Ichthyopodaphoca pokevus) is a species of eared seal part of the sea lion family that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii due to demands for real life Pokémon-like animals from Pokémon fans, and unlike most pinnipeds, primarinas make good pets due to their docile and tame nature as well as having a wide meaty diet. However, they have been released to the shorelines and freshwater habitats across Great Britian, mainland Eurasia, and North America by some careless pet owners. Being sexually dimorphic, primarinas differ in size, shape, and coloration between the sexes. Males are typically around 2.4 m (7.9 ft) long and weigh up to 350 kg (770 lb), while females are typically around 1.8 m (5.9 ft) and weigh up to 100 kg (220 lb). Pups and juveniles are known to be dull brownish-gray in color, but as they grow up, their colors change to brightly-colored whites, greens, and blues, with its back legs resembling a fish fin or mermaid fin, due to the colors on them resembling fish scales at first glance, despite being fur rather than scales. The primarina is a carnivore that primarily feeds on fish, squid sea birds, and carrion. During the breeding season, primarinas gather on both sandy and rocky shores. On warm days, they lie closer to the water. At night or in cool weather, they travel farther inland or to higher elevations. Non-breeding individuals may gather at marinas, wharves, or even navigational buoys. primarinas can also live in fresh water for periods of time. The conservation status of the primarina is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the primarina's wide range, and its tolerance to most of human activities, including being able to flourish and adapt to life in the coastal cities and suburbs, even including public beaches and seal docks.
