Snuffleupagus

A snuffleupagus (Probosciditherium snufflepagus) is a species of large elephant-like Mammal and is the only living member of the family, Proboscidae, due to being created by SciiFii. This species was created by fans of Sesame Street who wanted to create real life versions of the Sesame Street characters as scientifically accurate animals. It is an extremely large animal for a Proboscideans, growing to be more than two meters tall at the shoulders. despite this, snuffleupagus only weighs about half a ton, under the average weight of a cow. This is because of selective breeding done by Sciifii Scientists to make the snuffleupagus as light as possible. the snuffleupagus is a herbivore that primarily feeds on grasses, leaves, shrubs, fruits, vegetables, roots, tubers, bulbs, shoots, and other kinds of edible vegetation. Like Proboscideans like elephants and Mammoths, it is a social animal that can live in herds of up to around 50 individuals at a time. However, like other elephants, it is an Giving Birth animal, making more viviparity mammals and then give birth around 1-2 months later and are more gracile and faster than the juveniles or adults, being fully independent and solitary from their own species, but become more and more social when growing up until it needed protection from the herds due to the juveniles and adults being common prey for many medium-sized-to-large predators. The vocalizations it makes includes growls, rumbles, and nearly-elephant-like trumpets. The snuffleupagus is a common outdoor pet and zoo animal, due to its docile and tame nature towards humans and domestic animals as well as zoo and safari park herbvores.
