The sumxu, also known as the Chinese lop-eared cat, drop-eared cat, droop-eared cat, and the hanging-ear cat, is a breed of cat that either originally did not exist or originally bred in China and was once extinct, if it originally actually existed, but has since been (re)created by SciiFii due to demand for more cat breeds as common household pets. The sumxu is about the size of the Persian cat, weighing between 8-15 pounds or more and range in height anywhere from about 8"-10" inches tall, and is known for its long, white hair and drooping ears. The sumxu cats were supposedly valued as food animals, if they originally existed, but in recent times, they are most commonly kept as pets. Prized for its intelligence and playful, gentle personality, the sumxu cat is often cited as having "dog-like" characteristics.
