The Tesem, sometimes called the African greyhound, the hunting dog (should not be confused with African wild dogs, also known as African hunting dogs), or the pariah dog (not to be confused with feral dogs known as pariah dogs), is a breed of domestic dog that originally lived in Ancient Egypt and was once extinct, but has since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii due to people requesting and commissioning SciiFii to bring the extinct breed back as common house pets. It has an appearance most similar to that of a greyhound, but with slightly more elongated ears as well as a slightly less narrow jaw, and has less color variation, coming only in light brown, dark brown, and greyish-yellow fur colors. The Tesem is a gentle, loyal, and intelligent breed whose combination of long, powerful legs, deep chest, flexible spine and slim build allows it to reach average speeds exceeding 64 kilometres per hour (40 mph). The Tesem can reach a full speed of 70 kilometres per hour (43 mph) within 30 metres (98 ft) or six strides from the boxes, traveling at almost 20 metres per second (66 ft/s) for the first 250 metres (820 ft).
